Job summary

Child Development Centers Inc. is seeking an Educational Aide for the School-Age Program in Erie, PA. This full-time role supports Lead Teachers and assists in delivering age-appropriate activities across multiple centers and partner schools.

Shifts run 7:00am-5:30pm and require travel between centers using a personal vehicle. Benefits include PTO, holidays, and company-paid health coverage. High school diploma and 2 years of direct child experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of direct child experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Help to create meaningful, high-quality verbal interactions that support each child’s learning and overall experience in our program.
• Learn and assist the Lead Teacher in implementing our program curriculum while ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist in managing day-to-day classroom activities, bathroom breaks, meals, playground transitions, etc., and use these moments as opportunities for meaningful interactions with children.
• Learn and use our research-based techniques to effectively assist children with self-regulation and classroom behaviors.
• Other duties as assigned.
