Commerce City is seeking a Preschool Leader to plan and implement engaging activities for preschoolers aged 2 to 6, under the supervision of the Recreation Coordinator and Preschool Director.

The role emphasizes nurturing creativity and learning in a supportive environment, with a salary depending on experience and a focus on safety and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have CPR/First Aid certificates or obtain within 10 days.
• Must have Standard Precautions certificate or obtain within 30 days.
• Bilingual in Spanish desired.
• Background check and fingerprinting required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate various automobiles (including 14-passenger vans).
• CDL not required.

General Purpose

Under the guidance of our Recreation Coordinator and Preschool Director, you'll play a key role in planning and implementing fun and educational activities for preschool-aged children, ranging from 2 to 6 years old. Hiring Salary Is Dependent Upon Experience.

The hiring range is $17.06 - 20.11 / per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Leader I: Three

(3) months (455 hours) of verified experience in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children under six (6) years of age who are not related to the individual.

Leader II:

At least 21 years of age, two (2) years college, six (6) months (910 hours) of verified experience in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children under six (6) years of age who are not related to the individual.

• Golf Course Green Fees: Employees can play the City's award‑winning Buffalo Run Golf Course at a rate of $9.00 for 9-holes or $18.00 for 18-holes. Employees can also purchase golf merchandise at discounted prices.
