Commerce City is seeking a Preschool Leader to plan and implement engaging activities for preschoolers aged 2 to 6, under the supervision of the Recreation Coordinator and Preschool Director.

The role emphasizes nurturing creativity, learning, and inclusive play in a supportive environment. Bilingual Spanish is desired, and candidates will undergo background checks and training as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR/First Aid certificates or ability to obtain within 10 days.
• Standard Precautions certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Bilingual in Spanish desired.
• Background check and fingerprinting required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate various automobiles, including 14-passenger vans.
• CDL not required.
• Leader I: 3 months (455 hours) of verified experience caring for four or more children under six.
• Leader II: 21 years old, two years college, 6 months (910 hours) of verified experience caring for four or more children under six.

Responsibilities

Hiring Salary Is Dependent Upon Experience.

The hiring range is $17.06 - 20.11 / per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
