Job summary

The Learning Experience in Worcester, MA is seeking an experienced Preschool Lead Teacher who can create a classroom where learning feels exciting, purposeful, and fun. You’ll lead preschoolers through meaningful experiences that build early academic skills while encouraging confidence, independence, creativity, friendships, and a genuine love of learning.

You will implement the LEAP curriculum, guide assistants, and maintain a safe, engaging environment aligned with MA EEC requirements.

Qualifications

• Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Preschool Lead Teacher.
• Professional Preschool or early childhood classroom experience required.
• Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Preschool classroom routines and learning activities.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Create engaging experiences supporting literacy, math, science, language, creativity, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence, problem-solving, communication, and positive peer relationships.
• Use positive guidance and consistent classroom routines.
• Observe and document children's development.
• Guide and support Assistant Teachers.
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom.
• Follow Massachusetts EEC requirements.
