Job summary

Nampa Christian Schools, Inc. seeks a Preschool Lead Teacher to partner in the discipleship and instruction of two- to five-year-olds, providing a safe, developmentally appropriate environment built on Gospel foundations.

You will implement daily routines, foster spiritual, emotional, and physical growth, and collaborate with families and church partners to uphold the school's Christ-centered values.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDA credential or AA degree in early childhood/education field and a competent understanding of early childhood instruction.
• Health and welfare background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification in pediatric/adult or willingness to obtain within first months of employment.
• Year-round schedule.
• Must be an active member of a local gospel-preaching, Biblically-based church.

Responsibilities

• Care for two- to five-year-olds in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.
• Implement daily routines such as nap-time, diapering, instructed play time, crafts, etc.
• Ensure the room is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote spiritual, emotional, and physical growth.
• Provide one-on-one attention and foster a loving and supportive atmosphere.
• Maintain a positive and caring relationship with children, parents, and fellow staff members in a mature, professional way.
• Desire to continue learning and growing in all areas.
• Participate in opportunities to further educational and spiritual growth with an eager heart.
• Adhere to safety and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist the lead teacher in various classroom activities and multitask with patience.

Requirements

• A valid CDA Credential/AA Degree (or related to that in early childhood/education field) is preferred. The candidate must have a competent understanding of early childhood instruction.
• Health and Welfare Background Check.
• Must have CPR/First Aid in pediatric/adult; or desire to obtain within the first few months of employment.
• Year Round schedule.
• Must be an active member of a local, gospel-preaching, Biblically-based church.
• 7:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday.
