Job summary

Nampa Christian Schools, Inc. seeks a Preschool Aide to partner with the lead teacher in a Christ-centered preschool program for two- to five-year-olds.

You will support daily routines, nurture faith development, and help create a warm, engaging classroom environment rooted in Gospel values. This full-time role requires CPR/First Aid readiness, a year-round schedule (8am–5pm, Monday–Friday), and active church membership.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid readiness (in pediatric/adult)

• Commitment to a 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday schedule

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in caring for two- to five-year-olds in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.
• Support daily routines such as nap-time, diapering, instructed play time, crafts, etc.
• Ensure the room is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Help implement age-appropriate activities that promote spiritual, emotional, and physical growth.
• Provide one-on-one attention and foster a loving and supportive atmosphere.
• Maintain a positive and caring relationship with children, parents, and fellow staff members in a mature/professional way.
• Desire to continue learning and growing in all areas.
• Take part in opportunities to further educational and spiritual growth; with an eager heart.
• Adhere to safety and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist with a multitude of classroom activities as needed.

The Preschool Aide Will…

Requirements

• Must have CPR/First Aid in pediatric/adult; or desire to obtain within the first few months of employment.
• Year Round schedule.
• Must be an active member of a local, gospel-preaching, Biblically-based church.
• 8am-5pm Monday through Friday.
