Eagles Nest Preschool is seeking a dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team. You will lead a nurturing classroom, plan developmentally appropriate activities, and collaborate with families to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher (Lead) to join our vibrant early education Team. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives and grow your knowledge in this field while working with an amazing team.

Responsibilities
  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that sparks curiosity and supports children's exploration.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves.
  • Plan and facilitate stimulating activities, including arts and crafts, music and movement, storytelling, and outdoor play, to promote holistic development.
  • Assess children's progress, document observations, and maintain accurate records to inform individualized instruction and communicate with parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create a cohesive and enriching educational experience.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on their child's development, milestones, and areas of growth.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations and implementing appropriate procedures.
  • Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in early childhood education to enhance teaching methods and strategies continually.
Qualifications
  • Passion for early childhood education.
  • Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • A CDA or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is desirable,
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and fellow educators.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to ensure a well-structured and engaging classroom environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish positive and nurturing relationships with children and their families.
  • First aid and CPR certifications are required; we will assist in these certifications. Showcasing your commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment. You must be willing to renew your certifications and keep them current, as needed.
