Job summary

Nampa Christian Schools seeks a dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to partner with families in delivering a Christ-centered, developmentally appropriate program for ages 2-5. The role emphasizes Gospel-based instruction and Biblical worldview foundation.

The Preschool Lead will implement daily routines, create a safe, nurturing classroom, and support spiritual and academic growth. Position runs 7:30am-4:30pm, year-round, with benefits including paid time off and retirement plan plus tuition

Qualifications

• A valid CDA Credential/AA Degree (or related to that in early childhood/education field) is preferred.
• Health and Welfare Background Check.
• Must have CPR/First Aid in pediatric/adult; or desire to obtain within the first few months of employment.
• Year Round schedule.
• Must be an active member of a local, gospel-preaching, Biblically-based church.
• 7:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Care for two - five year olds in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.
• Implement daily routines such as nap-time, diapering, instructed play time, crafts, etc.
• Ensure the room is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote spiritual, emotional, and physical growth.
• Provide one-on-one attention and fostering a loving and supportive atmosphere.
• Maintain a positive and caring relationship with children, parents, and fellow staff members in mature/professional way.
• Desire to continue learning and growing in all areas.
• Will take part in every opportunity to further educational and spiritual growth; with an eager heart.
• Adhere to all safety and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
• Understanding and confident ability to help the lead teacher in a multitude of classroom activities.
• Can multitask with great ease and true ability to be patient in any situation.
