Job summary

Nampa Christian Schools in Nampa, Idaho, seeks a Preschool Aide to support the lead teacher in caring for two- to five-year-olds within a Christ-centered classroom.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, activities, and classroom maintenance, while fostering spiritual and personal growth in young learners. CPR/First Aid certification is required or pursued within a few months.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR/First Aid in pediatric/adult or be willing to obtain within the first few months of employment.
• Year-round schedule with Monday–Friday workdays from 8am to 5pm.
• Active member of a local, gospel-preaching, Biblically-based church.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in caring for two- to five-year-olds in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Support daily routines such as nap-time, diapering, instructed play, crafts, and activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and stock supplies.
• Help implement age-appropriate activities promoting spiritual, emotional, and physical growth.
• Provide one-on-one attention and foster a loving, supportive atmosphere.

The Preschool Aide Will…

• Assist the lead teacher in caring for two - five year olds in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.
• Support daily routines such as nap-time, diapering, instructed play time, crafts, etc.
• Ensure the room is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Help implement age-appropriate activities that promote spiritual, emotional, and physical growth.
• Provide one-on-one attention and fostering a loving and supportive atmosphere.
• Maintain a positive and caring relationship with children, parents, and fellow staff members in mature/professional way.
• Desire to continue learning and growing in all areas.
• Will take part in every opportunity to further educational and spiritual growth; with an eager heart.
• Adhere to all safety and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
• Understanding and confident ability to help the lead teacher in a multitude of classroom activities.
• Can multitask with great ease and true ability to be patient in any situation.

Requirements
