Job summary

Poway Unified School District seeks a preschool aide substitute to support teachers in classrooms and on playgrounds. Responsibilities include assisting with instructional activities, preparing learning materials, and supervising children in a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications require a Bachelor's degree (US accredited) or foreign equivalency, CBEST, transcripts, and one year of preschool experience. Six ECE units are also required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a US accredited college (or foreign equivalency) and CBEST passed.
• Six semester units of early childhood education or child development.
• Transcripts MUST be attached for your application to be considered complete.
• One year experience working with preschool age children.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors in care, supervision and learning activities for preschool-aged children.
• Assist teachers with preparation and presentation of learning materials for individuals or groups.
• Organize and supervise playground activities and assist with rest and nap periods.
• Maintain a sanitary, neat and orderly classroom environment.
• Assist with snacks, meals, and basic classroom clerical duties.
• Support health and safety practices and participate in meetings and trainings.
