Qualifications

• AA degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate.
• Washington State ECE Initial Certificate, Short certificate of Specialization, Current CDA Credential (Any focus).
• 12 Job-related credits (Substitution: Professional Development Plan to complete above qualifications).

Responsibilities

• Plan with teachers and staff; assist in preparing materials and environment.
• Interact positively with children and families; communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment reflecting diverse cultures and languages.
• Assist in assessment and development of ILPs; support individual learning needs.
• Help with health screenings, meals, and USDA paperwork; maintain records.
