Huntey's Clubhouse is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Teacher to support a nurturing classroom environment in Michigan. You will assist in implementing the curriculum, maintaining safety, and guiding children through structured activities and play.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Lead Teacher, ongoing communication with families, and adherence to state licensing requirements. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, with growth opportunities in a supportive, family-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and CDA in Preschool or an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within designated timeframe).
• Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day and lift up to 30–40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the classroom curriculum and adapt to each child’s needs.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore and learn.
• Support development through structured activities, play, and positive behavior guidance.
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher to maintain routines and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Monitor and report children’s progress to the Lead Teacher.
• Participate in professional development to enhance skills and classroom effectiveness.
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a clean, secure environment.
• Cultivate positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
