Job summary

Huntey’s Clubhouse (Early Learning Company) in Michigan is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support the classroom and curriculum implementation. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore and learn, and you will collaborate with the Lead Teacher and communicate with families daily.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and hold CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to obtain it.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for assistant teachers.
• Excellent communication with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the classroom curriculum and adapt to each child.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for exploration and learning.
• Support development through structured activities and positive guidance.
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher on routines and parent communication.
• Monitor and report progress and concerns to the Lead Teacher.
• Participate in professional development to improve classroom effectiveness.
