Kendall Academy Preschool is seeking a dedicated Floater Teacher to join our team in Vero Beach. The Floater will help implement activities, support the daily schedule, and ensure a nurturing, safe environment for young learners.

Responsibilities include assisting in classroom routines, maintaining clean and organized spaces, and supporting teachers during lunch and nap times. A 45-hour certificate or CDA is preferred, with reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• Have a 45-hour certificate or CDA or higher.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Speak, read, and write English.
• Willing to undertake training.
• Be on time with good attendance.
• Be patient and flexible.
• Able to move, lift, and assist children.

Responsibilities

• Implement classroom activities when a teacher is absent or as needed.
• Follow the daily routine and support learning and development.
• Assist in keeping the classroom clean, organized, and safe.
• Maintain required teacher-child ratios and supervise students.
• Report concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.
