Kendall Academy Preschool is seeking a dedicated Floater Teacher to join our team in Vero Beach. The Floater will help implement activities, support the daily schedule, and ensure a nurturing, safe environment for young learners.
Responsibilities include assisting in classroom routines, maintaining clean and organized spaces, and supporting teachers during lunch and nap times. A 45-hour certificate or CDA is preferred, with reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
Job Summary:
The Floater Teacher is responsible for implementing classroom activities either in the absence of a teacher and/or co-teacher or on a daily basis, as needed. The Floater Teacher will aid in the implementation of the daily schedule and routine, developing nurturing relationships, and ensuring the safety, security, and supervision of children. In addition, the Floater is expected to assist in keeping the classroom clean and organized, helping maintain a positive and productive learning environment. This role also includes assisting the housekeeping crew with some cleaning duties as needed to help maintain a clean and safe school environment.
