Job summary

Discovery Isle Preschool in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a motivated preschool teacher to design and deliver engaging lessons that promote exploration, early literacy, and critical thinking. You will foster independence and collaboration through hands-on, play-based learning and build strong relationships with children and their families.

You will partner with fellow teachers to create a warm, inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of 12 ECE units or a CDA in preschool required.
• Minimum of 6 months teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.
• Nurturing personality with patience and flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Completed 12 Core Early Childhood Education (ECE) Units as required by the state of California.
  
  
  • An awarded Child Development Associate (CDA) in preschool.
  
  
  
  


• Minimum of 6 months prior teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.


• A nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies.


• Authorization to work in the United States
