Job summary

The Learning Experience – Manassas City, VA is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to create engaging learning experiences for children as they build confidence, independence, and kindergarten-readiness skills. This role leads classroom routines, supports early academic development, and builds strong relationships with children and families.

The position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay of $16–$20 per hour and paid training, plus opportunities

Qualifications

• CDA credential required.
• Previous professional childcare or preschool experience required.
• Strong understanding of child development.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities.
• Implement developmentally appropriate lessons using LEAP Curriculum.
• Support early literacy, math readiness, problem-solving, and social-emotional development.
• Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Guide children through learning centers, meals, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Observe children’s progress and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership.
• Follow Virginia childcare licensing and safety requirements.
