Job summary

The Learning Experience in Winchester, VA is seeking an Assistant Infant Teacher to support our infant classroom and proprietary curriculum. You will partner with lead teachers to create a safe, engaging environment where children learn through play and exploration, with guidance and supervision from experienced staff.

Ideal candidates show a passion for early education, hold a high school diploma or GED, and meet state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children.
• Have a high school diploma/GED (ECE coursework preferred).
• Meet any applicable state licensing requirements for the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist infant teachers in implementing the curriculum.
• Maintain quality, health and safety standards in classrooms.
• Collaborate with peers to create a welcoming learning space for children.
• Communicate with parents and families about child progress.
