Job summary

Child Development Services (CDS) is seeking Educational Technicians to support preschool children with developmental disabilities at the Lewiston site. Roles involve supervising groups, delivering planned activities, and collaborating with teachers and case managers to support inclusion and learning.

Positions offer 30 hours per week year-round with potential travel; applicants must have a Maine Ed Tech certification and pass criminal history checks.

Qualifications

• Current Ed Tech certification required.
• Background, criminal history check and fingerprinting are required.
• Experience with preschool populations and multidisciplinary teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise small groups of students in center-based programs.
• Conduct one-on-one or small group instruction under supervision.
• Assist in preparing classroom materials and manage classroom routines.
• Model positive language and behavior for children and families.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
