Qualifications

• BA or BS in Education, Elementary or Early Childhood Development.
• MA or MS preferred.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience at the early childhood/elementary level.
• Prior administrative and supervisory/management experience.
• Familiarity with current state standards in early childhood education.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in necessary computer programs

Responsibilities

• Staff Leadership: Build and empower a staff team to carry out CCP's mission and guide staff in implementing a play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations, observe classrooms, conduct reviews, provide feedback, and manage conflict.
• Community Building: Engage with CCP families, communicate regularly through newsletter and email, and attract diverse families.
• Safety and Security: Manage safety, schedule drills, maintain spaces, and stay updated on licensing requirements.
• Financial Oversight: Create and maintain an annual budget and manage accounts receivable/payable.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with Second Presbyterian Church groups to share spaces and promote events.
• Administrative lead for the Associate Pastor for Adult Faith Formation
