Job summary

Metro Children's Services in New York is seeking an experienced CPSE Administrator to lead our growing Preschool Special Education program for ages 3–5. This leadership role requires deep knowledge of the NYC CPSE system, SEIT services, related services, and program operations.

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, supervise staff and providers, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive service quality and program growth while maintaining the highest standards of accountability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.
• New York State professional certification or licensure preferred.
• SBL/SDL/SAS certification is a plus.
• Candidates meeting NYSED regulatory qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CPSE department operations and overall management.
• Supervise CPSE coordinators, supervisors, administrative staff, SEIT providers, and related-service teams.
• Manage caseloads, staffing needs, productivity, and performance.
• Develop and implement systems and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership, training, and ongoing support to staff.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to set goals and monitor performance.
