Job summary

Little Masters Development Center is seeking motivated CPSE Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEITs) to provide individualized special education services to preschool-aged children throughout New York City.

The role involves delivering 1:1 SEIT services, implementing educational and behavioral strategies, and collaborating with families and school teams across Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, The Bronx and Staten Island.

Qualifications

• CPSE SEIT with NYS certification for CPSE services.
• Experience with preschool children and developmental delays preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP goals and progress monitoring.
• Strong written documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 SEIT services in accordance with each child's IEP.
• Implement individualized educational and behavioral strategies.
• Address cognitive, communication, social-emotional, behavioral and developmental goals.
• Maintain accurate session notes and required documentation.
• Monitor and document student progress.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, therapists and other members of the child's educational team.
• Participate in meetings and provide progress updates when required.
• Maintain professional communication and dependable attendance.

• Bilingual and multilingual providers are strongly encouraged to apply
