Job summary

Wonderspring Early Education is seeking a PreK Counts Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in a Preschool classroom at the New Market West Center. You will help implement lesson plans, supervise children, and assist with daily routines in partnership with the Philadelphia School District.

The role involves collaboration with staff, adherence to CACFP procedures, participation in trainings, and ongoing communication with families about child progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience working with children.
• CDA required or equivalent credential.
• Strong teamwork and flexibility are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom routines.
• Supervise children in your care.
• Assist with all tasks associated with the daily schedule.
• Follow additional serving and preparation procedures for CACFP programs.
• Engage in staff meetings, in-services, training, and center events.
• Observe, document, and share each child’s progress with families.
