Job description

The Town of Andover Recreation Department seeks a dynamic and experienced Preschool Coordinator to lead and grow our early childhood education and recreational programs as part of the Department’s Kid Care Division. This new role involves the design, building, and direct supervision of high quality preschool recreational programs.

The Preschool Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum, supervision and mentoring of up to three additional seasonal staff, coordinating with families, and ensuring high safety standards.

The ideal candidate is a creative leader with a strong background in early childhood education, who is compassionate with strong communication skills. Emphasis will be placed on program development and building a cohesive and collaborate team. Join us in shaping a nurturing, engaging, and enriching environment where young learners can thrive.

Weekly hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30a-12:30p, with an average of 20-25 hours per week including prep time.

Salary: $33.00 per hour.
