Job summary

Community Council of Idaho is seeking an Infant Toddler Aide to support teachers in a Head Start environment. You will help plan and conduct activities that foster language, social, and physical development for assigned children, under supervision.

This seasonal, on-site position offers opportunities to gain experience in early childhood education and access to benefits for staff. Training is provided to help you succeed in a caring, educational setting.

Qualifications

• Assist in planning and conducting a classroom curriculum for infants and toddlers
• Support health checks and monitor development with teachers
• Maintain confidentiality of clients and records in CC Idaho

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily health checks of children
• Monitor progress of individual children and assist in IFSPs
• Supervise activities and help set age-appropriate rules
• Support transportation duties as needed after training
