Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a GSRP Classroom Aide to support the Lead Teacher and Associate Teacher in providing a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment for four-year-olds in Michigan.

The role emphasizes classroom routines, learning activities aligned with state standards, and health and safety compliance. Requires a high school diploma or GED, with CDA or ECE coursework preferred, and prior preschool experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDA credential or coursework in Early Childhood Education / Child Development preferred.
• Previous experience with preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in facilitating small-group and individual learning activities aligned with state early learning standards.
• Prepare learning materials, craft supplies, and instructional areas before and after activities.
• Help implement research-based curriculum models (e.g., HighScope).
• Support children's social-emotional growth through positive behavioral guidance and conflict resolution.
• Maintain active supervision of children during indoor and outdoor time, rest periods, and transitions.
• Assist with personal hygiene routines and meals following CACFP guidelines.
• Record observations and maintain confidentiality; participate in staff meetings and professional development.
