Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a GSRP Aide to support Lead and Associate Teachers in preparing 4-year-olds for Kindergarten within Michigan’s state-funded program. Help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.

You will assist with daily activities, follow health and safety guidelines, and help set up learning spaces while building positive relationships with children and implementing age-appropriate activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; early childhood coursework or experience preferred.
• Passion for helping children learn and grow.
• Dependability, energy, and a collaborative spirit.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom routines and daily activities, meals, and transitions.
• Follow licensing, grant, and center guidelines to ensure health and safety.
• Assist with classroom setup, organization, and maintaining a clean learning space.
• Build positive relationships with children and help implement fun, age-appropriate activities.
