Job summary

The Learning Experience in Vernon, CT is seeking an Assistant Center Director to guide daily operations, lead staff, ensure health and safety compliance, and drive enrollment through family engagement.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in center leadership, hold state Administrative/Director credentials, and a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred) or at least one year (required).
• State-specific Administrative or Director credential.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, driving a positive impact on children and staff. Foster trust, inclusivity, and strong relationships.
• Ensure facility health and safety compliance with licensing regulations.
• Build and maintain a qualified staff through sourcing, training, coaching, and engagement.
• Guide teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum to create engaging, enriching learning experiences.
