Job summary

The Learning Experience #461 is seeking a Preschool Center Director in Vernon, CT. This role leads our preschool center, ensuring safe, engaging classrooms and strong staff performance, while driving enrollment and operational excellence.

You will oversee curriculum implementation, licensing compliance, and financial operations, and you will engage families through tours and community events to grow enrollment and strengthen the center's reputation.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of center leadership/management experience.
• State-specific Administrative or Director credential.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with passion for making a positive impact on children and staff.
• Ensure center environment complies with health and safety SOPs and licensing regulations.
• Build and maintain a highly qualified staff through sourcing, training, coaching, and engagement.
• Guide teachers in implementing the proprietary curriculum and engaging learning experiences.
• Drive business results: manage AR/AP, generate monthly P&L, and oversee payroll.
• Engage families through in-person and virtual tours; organize community marketing events to raise enrollment.
