Job summary

The Learning Experience in Cheshire, CT is seeking a Center Director to lead daily operations, uphold safety standards, and ensure licensing compliance. This role requires strong leadership, staff development, and a passion for early education.

You will recruit and coach staff, guide teachers in our curriculum, manage enrollment and finances, and engage families through tours and community events to drive growth and quality of service.

Qualifications

• Two+ years center leadership/management experience (highly preferred) or at least one year (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (highly preferred).
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, displaying passion for making a positive impact on children and staff. Build trust, rapport, and inclusivity.
• Ensure center environment complies with health and safety SOPs and licensing regulations.
• Recruit, train, coach, and engage current and prospective employees to maintain a highly qualified staff.
• Guide teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum and engaging learning experiences.
• Drive business results: manage accounts receivable/payable, generate monthly P&L, oversee payroll.
• Engage families through in-person and virtual tours; organize community marketing events to raise enrollment.
