The Learning Experience - Enfield, CT seeks an Assistant Director to support the Center Director in daily operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment, and leading a team of teachers.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in childcare or early childhood education.
• Early childhood education experience required.
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in overseeing daily center operations and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
• Lead by example to foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, professionalism, and excellence in ECE.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and retaining high-quality teaching staff.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
• Partner with teachers to implement our curriculum and promote developmentally appropriate learning.
• Build positive relationships with families through communication, tours, and enrollment support.
• Support administrative responsibilities including scheduling, attendance, enrollment management, and office operations.
• Assist with community outreach and marketing to increase enrollment and partnerships.
