Job summary

Kent ISD is seeking a part-time Support Staff/Break Aide for the Great Start Readiness Program. The role supports teachers by providing scheduled breaks, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment in a diverse preschool setting.

Eligibility includes reliable attendance, good communication with students and families, and a commitment to equity. Bilingual skills are welcomed to serve Kent ISD's multilingual community.

Qualifications

• Preferably has some experience working with children.
• Create and maintain a safe and positive learning environment focused on belonging.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Commitment to equity, social justice, and inclusion in all practices.
• Team player able to multitask and prioritize.
• Navigate some technology.
• Some English-speaking skills; bilingual skills are highly desired.

Responsibilities
