Job summary

Pediatrics Plus in Conway, AR is seeking an Early Childhood Behavior and Classroom Coach to oversee classroom curriculum and behavior support under the guidance of the Director of Preschool Services.

You will coach lead teachers and assistants, implement developmentally appropriate practices, manage schedules, monitor Individual Treatment Plans, and participate in parent conferences while maintaining accurate classroom documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years' experience working with children preferred.
• Knowledge of Benchmark Assessment required.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills including database, word processing, spreadsheet, and internet software.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and policies.
• Ability to author routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of families or employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversees classroom curriculum and management.
• Coaches Classroom Lead Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
• Implements developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom.
• Maintains and oversees classroom calendar and schedules.
• Communicates with therapists and Administration about curriculum and activities.
• Oversees ITP evaluation and progress monitoring.
• Leads meetings with parents/therapists.
• Ensures documentation and assessments are completed.
• Participates in kindergarten transition and related paperwork.
• Supports hiring and onboarding of classroom staff.
• Ensures compliance with Arkansas childcare licensing.
