Pediatrics Plus is hiring an Early Childhood Behavior and Classroom Coach in Van Buren to lead classroom curriculum and behavior support under preschool services leadership. You will coach teachers, implement best practices, and coordinate with therapists to support children with special needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and ongoing staff development within a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 2 years’ experience working with children, required.
• Early Childhood Development Specialist (ECDS) qualifications required; if not met, actively pursue qualifying steps.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Child and Family Studies preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee classroom curriculum and management including behavior support under Director guidance.
• Provide support and coaching to Classroom Lead Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
• Implement developmentally appropriate practices and model in the classroom.
• Coordinate weekly curriculum modifications and classroom schedules.
• Communicate with therapists and Administration about curriculum and activities.
• Develop and monitor Individual Treatment Plans (ITP) and track progress.
• Lead parent/guardian and therapist meetings.
• Oversee habilitative services and direct care to recipients.
• Participate in 45- and 90-day enrollment reviews and Kindergarten transition activities.
• Ensure classroom documentation and safety standards are maintained.
