Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports daily classroom activities under the School Director, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for young children, including those with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety procedures in a childcare setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment for all children.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in identifying and addressing individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs (including IEPs).
• Support planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision policies and document incidents as required.
• Assist with managing and reporting escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in trainings and professional development, possibly outside regular hours.
