Job summary

Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking dedicated team members to support our Smith Playground Center. This role provides support throughout our center working with preschool aged children while helping to ensure consistent care and coverage throughout the center.

We are looking for individuals who can step into different classrooms as needed, assist with daily routines, and maintain active supervision to keep children safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDA certification required.
• 2+ years experience working with children preferred.
• Teamwork and flexibility essential.
• Ability to keep information private.
• Health assessment with TB screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Cover classrooms as needed to maintain staff-to-child ratios.
• Support daily routines and activities.
• Provide active supervision at all times.
• Build relationships with children, families, co-workers and administrators.
• Follow lead teacher responsibilities for the classroom.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized environments.
