Job summary

Wonderspring seeks an Assistant Teacher Float at the Smith Playground Center to support preschool-aged children and help maintain classroom coverage. You will move between classrooms, assist daily routines, supervise actively, and build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.

You will follow guidance from the lead teacher, maintain safe, clean environments, and participate in center-wide efforts to ensure consistent care and coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDA certification required.
• 2+ years of experience working with children preferred.
• Must obtain all required clearances and TB health assessment prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Step into different classrooms to help with coverage and maintain ratio.
• Support daily routines and classroom activities.
• Provide active supervision at all times to keep children safe.
• Build and maintain relationships with children, families, coworkers and administrators.
• Follow responsibilities outlined by the lead teacher.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized environments.
