Union County Community Action, Inc. (UCCA) seeks an caring assistant to support Head Start preschool classrooms and assist with safe transportation of children to and from school. This role offers meaningful work, a stable Monday–Friday schedule, and robust benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED and CDA; 6 months to 1 year related experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development preferred; 6 months to 1 year experience preferred.
• EDU 119 required.
• CDL required or obtainable within 90 days of employment.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or obtainable.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, TB test; random drug screenings.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Union County Community Action, Inc. (UCCA) is seeking a caring, dependable professional to support our Head Start preschool classrooms while also assisting with the safe transportation of children to and from school. • Assistant Teacher/ Bus Driver I: High School Diploma/ GED & Child Development Associate (CDA). Six months to one year of related experience preferred
• Assistant Teacher/ Bus Driver II: Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development or related field preferred. Six months to one year of related experience preferred
• EDU 119 required
• CDL required or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
• CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening and TB test, and must submit to random drug screenings.
• Valid driver’s license required

Physical Requirements

Must be able to actively supervise young children in classroom and outdoor environments, assist children on and off the bus, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
