Job summary

Five Star Kids Program at the Armed Services YMCA Hampton Roads is seeking a Part-time CYP Front Desk Assistant in Virginia Beach. You will support Pre-K staff during lunch breaks and supervise students across lunch, playground and naptime.

Requirements include a HS diploma and 18+, with preferred ECE/ECD credits or CCP/CDA credential. Duties include front desk tasks, attendance records, safety and licensing compliance, and driving if needed.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma.
• Preference given to candidates with early childhood education (ECE/ECD) credits and experience, or a CCP/CDA credential and teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pre-K teachers during lunch breaks and supervise students in lunch, playground, and naptime.
• Front desk duties: answer phones, greet visitors, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain classroom and attendance records and support safety and licensing standards.
