Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Assistant Director to lead a dynamic team of 20–40 educators, create a safe and welcoming learning environment, and partner with families to celebrate each child’s journey.

You will drive licensing compliance, hire and coach staff, oversee program quality, and coordinate marketing events while maintaining a joyful, child-centered culture across our nationwide network of Cadence Education schools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on teaching experience.
• Meets state licensing standards, including background checks.
• Meets Delaware approved education/training pathway.
• Knowledge of national/state education standards and health/regulatory requirements.
• Understanding USDA Nutrition Standards for Schools.
• Must be at least 21 years old and meet corporate driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Model professionalism, consistency, and passion in every interaction, setting the tone for excellence.
• Train and inspire a team of 20–40, guiding performance appraisals and growth plans.
• Communicate preschool standards and policies clearly, ensuring everyone’s on the same page.
