Hire Up Recruiting is seeking an experienced Assistant Center Director for a premier preschool in Powell, OH. The role requires strong leadership, excellent verbal and written communication, a love for children, and commitment to education.

This direct hire position features Monday–Friday, year‑round employment with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Education Administration, Business or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years experience in ECE, 1+ years in a leadership role, prior Assistant Director or program coordinator experience.
• Must meet background check eligibility.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs in relation to child handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all school operations focusing on educational programming, events, budgets, and safety.
• Train, coach, and develop the school for future growth.
• Develop strong relationships with families.
• Comply with state childcare licensing regulations.

• This is a Direct Hire position with the school
• Monday-Friday; year-round employment

Salary

• $40,280 - $50,350/yearpending education, certifications, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, special events and activities, managing budget/finances, relationship building, quality assurance related to health & safety, and faculty onboarding, training & development
• Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the school for the future
• Develop strong relationships with our families

Qualifications

• REQUIRED Education:Bachelor's(Required)in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, Education Administration, Business or related field.
• REQUIRED Leadership Experience:At least 2+ years experience in ECE, 1+ years experience in a leadership role, prior experience as an Assistant Director or program coordinator
• Mustbe able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Mustmeet background check eligibility

Experience

• Minimum of two years in licensed childcare with at least one year as a Director or supervising a childcare program with a track record of team management, operational oversight, and community engagement(Required).
• Experience with startup of childcare center(preferred).
