Job summary

Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant - Aftercare in Phoenix, AZ. You will support a positive classroom, greet families, and assist with Cadence programs from 12:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required if state licensing requirements are met.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher Assistant.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings.
• CDA preferred but not required if state requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment maintaining safety and dignity for each child.
• Greet children and families daily and foster welcoming relationships.
• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Education programs.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
