Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solution Engineer to design, demonstrate, and validate Modern Workplace and collaboration solutions. You will lead discovery conversations, design solutions, and translate requirements into architectures across collaboration platforms, contact centers, telephony, and room devices.

You will maintain 2–3 partner certifications, deliver demos, and support sales with scoping, proposals, and RFP responses. Travel to client sites and partner events is required.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience is required.
• 3+ years in presales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
• Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
• Ability to earn and maintain intermediate certifications across 2-3 partners and support 4-6 collaboration partners.
• Advanced certifications in listed technologies are preferred (Dell, Cisco, VMware, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Azure, AWS, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veeam, Nutanix).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery conversations focused on Modern Workplace requirements.
• Lead basic customer solution design for Modern Workplace and Collaboration solutions.
• Translate customer requirements into solution designs leveraging collaboration platforms and telephony.
• Support validation activities like fit-gap analysis and requirements mapping.
• Maintain certifications and articulate partner capabilities for multiple platforms.
• Deliver demonstrations for 4-6 partners and build demo assets.
• Present to both technical and non-technical audiences, including IT leadership.
• Support sales cycles with scoping, proposals, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Share customer feedback to inform strategy and collateral.
• Travel to SHI, partner, and customer events as required.
