The role partners with sales, engineering, and customer stakeholders to shape SOC solutions for complex enterprise needs and to lead technical discovery, demos, PoCs, and business-relevant recommendations for technical and executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, or IT or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in security operations, SOC architecture, or security engineering.
• Hands-on with SIEM/SOAR/EDR/XDR design and implementation.
• Experience in presales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting in cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver demos, PoCs, and presentations on enterprise SOC solutions.
• Lead technical discovery sessions assessing client security operations maturity.
• Translate SecOps concepts into business-relevant proposals for technical and executive audiences.
• Develop practice collateral such as reference architectures and competitive analyses.
• Evaluate vendor technologies and recommend partnerships.
• Conduct trainings for engineering and sales on security best practices.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying new SecOps opportunities.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Presales Solutions Architect - Security Operations to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will partner closely with sales, engineering, and customer stakeholders to shape security operations solutions that address complex enterprise needs. You will lead technical discovery, craft compelling demonstrations and proof-of-concepts, and translate SecOps capabilities into business-relevant recommendations for both technical and executive audiences. The position also supports practice development through collateral creation, vendor evaluation, and training that helps drive revenue growth and stronger security outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 - $250,000 annually

• Design and deliver demos, proof-of-concepts, and presentations on enterprise SOC solutions
• Lead technical discovery sessions assessing clients' security operations maturity
