Job summary

REAKT Recruitment Ltd in the United States is seeking a Software Solutions Engineer for Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) to help customers transform how they capture, classify, extract and move information across enterprise systems.

You’ll own discovery workshops, design scalable IDP solutions, configure environments, build proofs of concept, and deliver impactful demos while partnering with sales and delivering compelling technical stories.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Up to 4 years in relevant roles (pre-sales, consulting, architecture).
• Hands-on experience configuring enterprise software.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops to understand document workflows and automation opportunities.
• Analyse current-state operations and design scalable IDP solutions with ROI.
• Configure software environments, build POCs, and deliver demos using real documents.
• Architect end-to-end automation across capture, OCR/AI extraction, classification, validation and integration.
• Produce solution designs, technical documentation, and implementation recommendations.
• Scope deployments, estimate effort, and prepare Statements of Work.
• Partner with sales during cycle, supporting RFPs and executive presentations.
• Act as trusted technical advisor for digital transformation.

We’re hiring a Software Solutions Engineer to support our Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and Document Automation portfolio, helping customers transform the way they capture, classify, extract, validate and move information through their business.

This is a role for someone who loves diving into messy, document‑heavy processes and emerging with clarity, architecture, and a compelling solution story.

What You’ll Own

• Lead discovery workshops to understand document workflows, business processes, and automation opportunities


• Analyse current‑state operations and design scalable IDP solutions that deliver measurable ROI


• Configure software environments, build POCs, and deliver high‑impact demos using real customer documents


• Architect end‑to‑end automation solutions across capture, OCR/AI extraction, classification, validation, workflow and system integration


• Produce solution designs, technical documentation, and implementation recommendations


• Scope deployments, estimate level‑of‑effort, and prepare Statements of Work


• Partner with sales throughout the cycle, supporting RFPs, technical evaluations, and executive presentations


• Act as the trusted technical advisor for prospects and customers exploring digital transformation

What You Bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology or equivalent experience


• Up to 4 years in Pre‑Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Solution Architecture or Professional Services


• Hands‑on experience configuring enterprise software


• Strong communication and presentation skills


• Ability to gather requirements, map processes, and translate business needs into technical designs


• Understanding of implementation methodologies and project scoping


• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Bonus Points For

• Experience in IDP, OCR, Document AI, Content Services, Workflow Automation, RPA or BPM


• Knowledge of document‑centric processes (AP, invoice processing, claims, onboarding, loan processing, hybrid mail, contract management)


• Familiarity with APIs, databases, web services, and enterprise integrations


• Exposure to AI‑based extraction, document classification, and machine learning concepts


• Experience estimating software projects and preparing SOWs

Compensation

$120,000 – $160,000 base + uncapped bonus structure Flexible depending on experience and impact.
