Job summary

Moore-Tulsa Print and Mail Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Conventional Prepress Technician to join our team. You will ensure quality proofs and layouts, load plates into plate setters, and prepare proofs for customer approval, while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires interpreting job tickets, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with press operators. Training occurs on day shift, with night shift hours 3pm-11pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years in prepress/plating/proofing or digital printing preferred.
• Computer experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read press schedule, job ticket, VPS and related specs to determine plating order and plate size.
• Review plate proofs for defects and quality before printing.
• Perform monthly routine maintenance on equipment.
• Verify job information and ensure correct plates; check proofs for quality.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper handling of materials.
