The MCC Prepress Technician role focuses on preparing files for printing across offset and flexographic platforms, ensuring color accuracy and production readiness. This position requires strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Esko workflows and GMG color management, and involves collaborating with customers and production teams to meet tight deadlines.

Formación

• Associate degree or 2 years of equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Esko workflows and GMG color management.
• Familiarity with offset and flexo printing processes.
• Detail oriented, well organized, able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Proofing & Label Assembly: create trapped production-ready art files and proofs.
• Stepping / Job Assembly: build press sheet layouts and modify for production.
• Color Management: CMYK/spot color corrections for offset/flexo.
• Screen Making & Plate Making: produce screens and plates, manage workflow.
• Preflight & QC: review artwork for printability and defects per specs.
• Job Tracking: record instructions, track labor and materials in systems.
• Customer interaction: communicate specs and feedback with clients.
