Job summary

printcommunications seeks a detail-oriented Pre-Press Technician to prepare customer artwork for print production. You will handle pre-flight, proofs, imposition, trapping, and plate making, using Mac-based Adobe tools and industry software.

The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining file integrity and inventory. Experience with Prinergy and Preps is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Mac-based workflows.
• At least two years of experience manipulating multicolor and four-color files.
• Experience with Prinergy Workflow and/or Preps Imposition preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Job pre-flight and job assembly.
• Produce digital proofs and print-ready artwork with imposition and trapping.
• Operate with deadlines on a production schedule.
• Maintain digital file management and archiving.
• Produce offset and flexographic plates using relevant software.
• Assist with inventory and routine equipment maintenance.
