Job summary

ARC Document Solutions seeks a Digital Pre-Press Operator to join a fast-paced team. Responsibilities include setting up files in pre-press, correcting client files, designing print collateral, ensuring quality control, and following detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in a large format digital printing environment.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and design software.
• Knowledge of large and small format printing, finishing processes and materials.
• Understanding of project scope and cross-trade coordination.
• Experience with RIP software Onyx or Caldera is a plus.
• Strong math skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.

Work hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

We are seeking a Digital Pre-Press Operator to work in our fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is someone who is extremely focused and enjoys quick transitions while executing the following essential job duties:

• Pre-press environment setting up files.
• Candidate must be organized, professional, and a good communicator
• Making corrections to existing client files
• Designing some print collateral.
• Efficient, accurate and able to multitask in a fast environment
• Offer realistic and creative ideas for our clients and our internal needs
• Perform proofing and quality control checks on each job produced
• Process, comprehend, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Proactive self-starter with a Great Attitude and Work Ethic
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area
• Ability to report to work as scheduled and as required to support business operations
• Able to work overtime when needed
• Work additional, non-traditional hours (as needed) to complete job tasks and assignments.
• Other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Hands-on experience in a large format digital printing environment
• Complete working knowledge and understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and other design programs
• Solid working knowledge of large format and small format printing, finishing processes and materials
• Understanding of project scope and how it relates to other trades
• Background in Onyx and Caldera RIP’s is a plus
• Above average math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions
• Self-motivated with the abilityto work independently, resourcefully with minimal oversight
• Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships withinternal and external customers

Hourly range: $22.00 to $25.00
