Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Commack, NY is seeking team members to assist with the preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products. You will provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members, following SOPs and health and safety regulations.

The role emphasizes on-floor engagement and supporting store programs while maintaining high product standards. No prior retail experience is required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation; follow health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensure proper labeling, dating, covering, and rotation of products.
• Maintain product quality and adherence to WFM guidelines.
• Document waste and spoilage.
• Assist customers and explain product differences to enhance sales.
• Keep walk-ins and freezers clean and organized.
• Arrive on time and participate in trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and upsell when appropriate.
• Maintain signs and pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and violations.
